Experience the wild history of the Pacific Northwest through songs !
Hear stories about a great Chinook Chief, daring pioneers, mysterious fires, the boom and bust of a local paper mill, a murder and public hanging, true love, and a child who played in the ash of the 1980 Mt. St. Helens eruption.
We offer this music in gratitude and deep respect for the Chinook Indian Nation and the Chinookan peoples of the lower Columbia River, who have called this place home for more than 10,000 years and whose presence continues today. We recognize their ongoing culture, sovereignty, and leadership in this region. We also recognize the historic and continuing ties of neighboring tribes, including the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, the Confederated Tribes of the Yakama Nation, and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.
